No. 22 Generals move past Hollins, 5-0

LEXINGTON, Va. – The No. 22 Washington and Lee women's tennis team defeated Hollins, 5-0, to stay undefeated in conference play on Sunday.

The Generals improved to 9-5 overall with the win and 8-0 in the ODAC, while Hollins dropped to 3-11 overall and 2-6 in the league.

W&L did not drop a single game in the win, earning three 8-0 wins in doubles and a pair of 6-0, 6-0 wins in No. 1 and No. 2 singles from junior Lily Horsley (Richmond, Va./St. Catherine's School) and senior Mary Hampton McNeal (Beaufort, S.C./South Carolina Connections Academy), respectively.

The Generals will be back in action on Tuesday when they travel to Roanoke for a 3:00 pm ODAC match.
