W&L Women's Tennis Posts a 9-0 Victory Over Ferrum

LEXINGTON, Va. -- The 25th-ranked Washington and Lee women's tennis team cruised to a 9-0 victory over Ferrum on Saturday morning at the Upper Courts.

The Generals dropped just two games in sweeping the doubles and easily took all six singles matches in straight sets.

W&L improved to 5-4 overall and 4-0 in the ODAC with the win, while the Panthers fell to 5-7 overall and 2-5 in league play with the loss.

Washington and Lee continues action with another match today against Sweet Briar.
