LEXINGTON, Va. – The Washington and Lee wrestling team dropped to 2-4 on the season with a 27-16 setback against John Carroll at the Warner Center on Friday evening.

Junior Zachary Papin (Carrollton, Texas / St. Mark's) got W&L on the board with an 11-10 victory over Shane Ging at 149 pounds.  First-year Shane Conners (Mount Airy, Md. / South Carroll) then posted a 5-2 win over Daniel Novak at 157 pounds and first-year Joe Scott (Efland, N.C. / Orange) notched a 14-2 major decision over Blake Dixon at 165 pounds.
