Dolwick Paces Generals at Swarthmore Final Qualifier

SWARTHMORE, Pa. — The Washington and Lee men's track and field team competed in the distance events at the Swarthmore Final Qualifier on Monday.  

Highlights From the Meet

  • Senior Alex Dolwick (Apex, N.C./GRACE Christian School) took 24th overall in the 5,000m with a career-best time of 14:56.17. The meet featured professional club runners, along with Division I and Division III athletes.
  • Sophomore Freddie Marx (Greensboro, N.C./Walter Hines Page) notched a career-best time in the 5,000m in 15:24.08, and first-year Ethan Bernstein (Bethlehem, Pa./Saucon Valley) registered a career-best time in the 1,500m (4:04.09).
