SALEM, Va. — The Washington and Lee men's track and field team took three of the Top 5 spots in the 800m on day two of the Bast-Cregger Invitational on Saturday.
Highlights From the Meet
- In the 800m, sophomore Alexander Caines (Hanover Park, Ill./Lake Park) finished second with a time of 2:01.36. Sophomore Miles Oliver (Chevy Chase, Md./Georgetown Prep) claimed fourth (2:05.23) and sophomore Danner Butler (Mobile, Ala./UMS-Wright) placed fifth in 2:05.80.
- First-year Doug Dracon (Matthews, N.C./Weddington) took fourth in two events. He was fourth in the 60m in 7.12 and fourth in the 200m with a time of 23.06.
- The Blue and White took three of the Top 4 spots in the 400m. Junior Donovan Fiore (Gilbert, Ariz./Chandler Prep Academy) was third in 51.37 and sophomore Micah Wilson (Lincoln, Neb./Lincoln East) claimed fourth in 51.61.
- First-year Nick Greenberg (Allen, Texas/The Episcopal School) placed fourth in the long jump at 6.62m (21'8.75"), and senior Drew Pranka (Princeton, Ill./Princeton) finished fourth in the 60m hurdles in 8.73.
