LEXINGTON, Va. -- The Washington and Lee men's tennis team claimed its 27th straight victory over Lynchburg, defeating the Hornets by a score of 9-0 on Tuesday afternoon at the W&L Upper Courts.
The Generals dropped just four points in sweeping the doubles competition, and then surrendered just seven points in claiming each of the six singles matches in straight sets.
The win improved W&L to 5-4 overall and 4-0 in ODAC play, while the Hornets dropped to 4-4 overall and 1-1 in conference action.
Washington and Lee returns to action on Thursday when it travels to Randolph-Macon for a 3:00 pm contest.
