LEXINGTON, Va. — The Intercollegiate Men's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IMLCA) released its 2019 Division III Regional Coaching Staff of the Year recipients on Thursday, and Washington and Lee garnered the distinction in the South Region for the second consecutive year.
Head Coach Gene McCabe, along with assistant coaches Eric Koch, Will Corrigan, Matt Chriss, Doug Hirsh, Chuck O'Connell and Aidan Long, earned the honor.
The Generals completed the 2019 season with a program-record tying 16 wins (16-5). The team also won the ODAC title for the 11th time in program history. The Blue and White advanced to the third round of the NCAA Championship, before falling to then fourth-ranked York, 14-12.
