NORMAN, Okla. – The Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA) announced its 2018 Srixon/Cleveland Golf Division III All-America Scholars and PING Division III All-Region golf teams on Tuesday evening.
Senior Luke Farley (Durham, N.C. / Trinity School) was named an All-America Scholar for the second straight year, while sophomores Brian Peccie (Norfolk, Va. / Norfolk Academy) and Sean Puleo (Albany, N.Y. / Albany Academy) were selected to the 20-member All-South Region team.
A mathematics major, Farley entered this year's NCAA Championship with a 74.81 stroke average across 16 rounds. He has two Top 10 finishes during the 2017-18 season and tied for 10th at the 2018 ODAC Championship. He is currently ranked 58th in Division III via GolfStat.
Farley is a four-time All-ODAC selection and two-time ODAC/Virginia Farm Bureau Insurance Scholar-Athlete of the Year honoree. He also garnered CoSIDA Second Team Academic All-America accolades a year ago, and he received the NCAA Elite 90 Award in 2016 when he also garnered Honorable Mention All-America laurels.
Across his four seasons, Farley has recorded a 75.41 stroke average across 75 rounds played.
Peccie entered the NCAA Championship as the fourth-ranked player in the GolfStat Division III rankings. He has four Top 10 finishes on the year, including a second-place finish at the Hershey Cup.
A two-time First Team All-ODAC honoree and the 2018 ODAC Player of the Year, Peccie carries a team-leading 72.88 scoring average across 16 rounds. He was also an All-South honoree a year ago.
Puleo is ranked 35th in the GolfStat Division III rankings and he has posted a 73.88 stroke average in 16 rounds during the 2017-18 campaign. He has two Top 10 finishes, including a fourth-place finish at the ODAC Championship. He was also a First Team All-ODAC selection.
Washington and Lee finished day one at NCAA's tied for third-place out of 42 teams with a +4 score of 292.
