FOREST, Va. – The Old Dominion Athletic Conference released its fall standings for the 2018-19 ODAC Commissioner’s Cups and Washington and Lee currently ranks second in the race for the men's, women's and overall cups.
Lynchburg currently holds the lead for all three cups, earning 64.5 of a possible 74.0 points for an .872 rating in the overall competition. W&L earned 69.5 of a possible 82.0 points for an .848 rating, while Bridgewater earned 67.0 of a possible 82.0 points for an .817 rating.
The Hornets amassed 23.0 of a possible 25.0 points for men's sports (.920 rating) and 41.5 of a possible 49.0 points (.846 rating) for women's sports. The Generals notched an .864 mark for the men and an .836 mark for the women.
All told, the Generals claimed a league-best four conference championships during the fall campaign, winning the title in men's and women's cross country, men's soccer and volleyball.
The Blue & White has won 16 straight Dan Wooldridge Overall Sports Champion Cups and 15 consecutive women’s cups. W&L has swept all three cups in five of the last six years.
