Washington and Lee Leads ODAC Commissioner's Cup Fall Standings

FOREST, Va. – The Old Dominion Athletic Conference released its fall standings for the 2017-18 ODAC Commissioner’s Cups and Washington and Lee carries a commanding lead for the men’s, women’s and overall cups.

The Generals earned 68.5 of a possible 75.0 points for a .913 rating, keyed by first-place finishes in four of the conference’s seven fall sports.  Lynchburg is second with 59.0 points and an .868 rating, while Roanoke is third with 49.5 points and a .728 mark.

W&L collected 28 of the 30 possible points for men’s sports for a .933 rating after finishing first in football and men’s cross country.  The W&L women posted 40.5 out of a possible 45 points and an .893 rating.  The Generals finished first in field hockey and women's cross country.

The Blue & White has won 15 straight Dan Wooldridge Overall Sports Champion Cups and 14 consecutive women’s cups.  W&L has swept all three cups in four of the last five years.
