W&L Women's XC Tabbed Third in ODAC Preseason Poll

FOREST, Va. — The Old Dominion Athletic Conference released its 2014 women's cross country preseason coaches' poll on Friday, and Washington and Lee took third with 70 points.

Bridgewater, the 2013 ODAC Champion, claimed the top spot with 81 points and nine of the 10 first-place votes. Eastern Mennonite was picked second (70), while receiving the other first-place tally. Following W&L, Lynchburg (55) and Roanoke (49) round out the Top 5. Virginia Wesleyan holds down the sixth spot with 43 points, and Shenandoah (34), Guilford (22), Randolph (16) and Emory & Henry (15) complete the poll.
