Madison Competes at NCAA Cross Country Championship Meet

HANOVER, Ind. – Washington and Lee senior Annelise Madison (Roca, Neb. / Norris) completed her collegiate cross country career by competing in the NCAA Division III Championships on Saturday morning at Hanover College.

Madison ran the course in 22:53.5 to finish in 143rd-place out of the 280 runners participating in the race.  It was the best finish by a General in the National meet since Elizabeth Webb '09 finished 115th at the 2008 Championship meet.

Johns Hopkins claimed the team championship with 85 points, while senior Chelsea Johnson of St. Scholastica was the individual champion with a time of 21:11.7.
