W&L's Telfeyan Competes at NCAA Nationals

CLEVELAND, Ohio – Washington and Lee senior Kat Telfeyan (Chesapeake, Va./Great Bridge) competed at the NCAA Division III Cross Country Championships on Saturday morning in Cleveland, Ohio.

Telfeyan placed 267th out of 279 runners in the event, crossing the finish line with a time of 25:42.4. St. Lawrence junior Wendy Pavlus won the race with a time of 21:28, while Wisconsin-Eau Claire won the team title with 171 points.

Telfeyan competed at the NCAA Nationals in three of her four years with the Generals. She placed 245th (25:34) in the 2006 championship and 103rd (23:00) at the 2007 championship meet.
