2008-09 (Cross Country): As a sophomore, posted a 26:03 in the season-opening Virginia Wesleyan Invitational … ran a season-best 26:02.55 and finished 44th at the ODAC Championships … (Indoor Track & Field): Recorded a 2:34.88 in the 800 meter dash at the Lafayette-Rider Winter Games … (Outdoor Track & Field): Posted a pair of season-best times with a 2:36.44 in the 800 meters and a 5:27.40 in the 1500 meters at the W&L-VMI Carnival.

2007-08 (Cross Country): Posted a 29:15.5 at the William & Mary Invitational during her rookie campaign … ran a season-best 26:50.11 to finish 22nd at ODAC’s … (Indoor Track & Field): Did not compete … (Outdoor Track & Field): Finished 18th out of all divisions in the 800 meters at the Asics Liberty Invitational and Multi’s with a personal-best time of 2:33.25 … finished 14th in the 800 meters at the ODAC Championships with a mark of 2:34.20.

High School: Earned a combined 16 letters in track & field, cross country and tennis at Radford High School … member of the state championship winning 4x400 relay team in 2006 … three-time all-state honoree in the 800 meters.

Personal: Father, Gary ’77, and sister, Beth Collier Vail ’02, both attended W&L … psychology major.
