Generals Advance to ODAC Volleyball Finals 3-0 Over Lynchburg

ROANOKE, Va. -- The Washington and Lee volleyball team advanced to the ODAC Finals with a 3-0 win over Lynchburg College on Saturday afternoon at Hollins University.

The Generals (27-5) put themselves in a position to win their ninth conference crown in the last 10 seasons with the 25-14, 25-23, 25-18 sweep of the Hornets (18-11).
First-year outside hitter M.A. Boles (Houston, Texas/St. John's) was one of two Generals to record at least 10 kills as she notched a match-high 14 with a hitting percentage of .571. Junior outside hitter Megan Daily (Birmingham, Ala./Mountain Brook) added 10 kills.
Sophomore libero Camero Hill (Tampa, Fla./H.B. Plant) registered a team-high 13 digs, with Boles adding 10 and Daily chipping in six.
First-year setter Meghan Meleski (Richmond, Va./Mills Godwin) led the way with 30 assists and junior middle blocker Lindsey Dee (Tallahassee, Fla./Maclay School) had seven total blocks, including three solo efforts.
With the win, W&L will now take on Randolph-Macon for the league title beginning at 3:30 pm.
