W&L Volleyball Rolls Into ODAC Semis With 3-0 Win Over EHC

ROANOKE, Va. – The Washington and Lee volleyball team advanced to the semifinal round of the ODAC Tournament with a 3-0 win over Emory & Henry on Friday night at Hollins University.

The Top-Seeded Generals (26-5) defeated the eighth-seeded Wasps (10-17), 25-9, 25-19, 25-21.
First-year outside hitter M.A. Boles (Houston, Texas/St. John's) led the W&L offense with 12 kills, while senior middle blocker Louise Brooks (Baltimore, Md./Bryn Mawr) added nine kills and junior middle blocker Lindsey Dee (Tallahassee, Fla./Maclay School) chipped in eight. Both Brooks and Dee also recorded four blocks.
First-year setter Meghan Meleski (Richmond, Va./Mills Godwin) registered 30 assists and five digs, while senior defensive specialist Jenna Finger (Homer Glen, Ill./Lockport Township) also had five digs while picking up a pair of service aces.
Washington and Lee will now take on either No. 4 Lynchburg College or No. 5 Roanoke College on Saturday at 11:00 am.
