W&L's Boles Garners Weekly ODAC Award

FOREST, Va. -- The Old Dominion Athletic Conference announced its Player of the Week honorees on Monday afternoon and for the second time in as many weeks, Washington and Lee first-year outside hitter M.A. Boles (Houston, Texas/St. John's) took home the volleyball award.

Boles averaged 13.7 kills and seven digs per match, while hitting .384 for the week and helped lead the Generals (18-4, 6-1 ODAC) to a 3-0 week, including a 3-0 win over ODAC-foe Roanoke College. The Generals also avenged an early-season loss with a 3-0 sweep of Averett University.

In the match against Roanoke, Boles tallied 19 kills for a .395 hitting percentage and also added 11 digs. Against Averett, she registered 14 kills (.423), seven digs and a pair of blocks.
For the season, she leads the ODAC in kills (281) and service aces (38) and is also ranked in the Top 10 in digs (230).
