W&L Volleyball Team Breezes Past Philadelphia Biblical, 3-0

BRIDGEWATER, Va. – The Washington and Lee volleyball continued play at the Bridgewater Invitational with a 3-0 sweep of Philadelphia Biblical on Saturday afternoon at Nininger Hall.

The Generals (6-1) cruised to a 25-7, 25-17, 25-13 victory over the Crimson Eagles (5-7).
W&L was led offensively by first-year outside hitter Allison Rouse (Troy, Mich./Troy), who notched 12 kills. Fellow first-year M.A. Boles (Houston, Texas/St. John's) added nine kills and junior middle blocker Lindsey Dee (Tallahassee, Fla./Maclay School) chipped in six kills on just seven attempts.
Sophomore libero Cameron Hill (Tampa, Fla./H.B. Plant) paced the Generals with 15 digs and four service aces. Senior defensive specialist Jenna Finger (Homer Glen, Ill./Lockport Township) recorded eight digs and two service aces and Boles added 11 digs.
Washington and Lee wraps up play in the Bridgewater Invitational when it takes on Frostburg State at 2:00 pm.
