W&L's Phillips Tabbed ODAC Volleyball Player of the Week

SALEM, Va. -- Washington and Lee senior volleyball player
Rachael Phillips (Tampa, Fla./Tampa Prep) has been honored as the
Old Dominion Athletic Conference’s volleyball player of the
week for the week ending October 25.
Phillips, the second-straight W&L player to be so honored,
tallied 39 kills and 22 digs in three matches last week as W&L
defeated Mary Baldwin (3-0), Bridgewater (3-1) and Marietta (3-1)
to stretch its season-high winning streak to 12 matches.
She tallied 16 kills and 12 digs while hitting at a .314 clip in
the Generals’ win over BC and followed that with a 19-kill,
7-dig performance while hitting .472 in the win over Marietta.
Phillips is currently ranked sixth all-time at W&L with 1,183
kills and fifth all-time with 3,110 attacks.
The Generals return to action on Wednesday when they host Roanoke
at 6:30 pm.
