Kristin Cupidois will serve as the women's cross country program's interim head coach for the 2013 season after joining the program as an assistant coach in 2012. She will also serve as an assistant women's track & field coach.
In her first season with the program, the women's cross country team claimed the ODAC championship, had five All-ODAC performers, three all-region competitors and sent two runners to the NCAA Championship. The track and field team finished second by two points at the ODAC Indoor Track and Field Championship, and again was the runner-up during the outdoor season. At the outdoor meet, the team set a new program record with 155 points.
Cupido joined the Generals after serving as the head cross country and track & field coach at Kutztown High School in Pennsylvania for the 2011-12 school year.
A 2011 graduate of Kutztown University with a bachelor of science in leisure and sports studies, she was a captain of the cross country and track & field teams during her senior season. A three-time Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference Scholar-Athlete and three-time member of the NCAA Division II All-Academic Cross Country team, Cupido earned All-PSAC honors in the indoor 5,000 meters in 2008.
