NEW ORLEANS — The U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) announced the Division III Women's Scholar Athletes of the Year and the All-Academic Teams on Thursday, and Washington and Lee earned All-Academic status. 

As a team, W&L posted a 3.51 overall team grade-point average. A total of 185 women's teams were recognized by the USTFCCCA. This past season, the Generals finished fifth at the Indoor and Outdoor ODAC Championships.

To be recognized as an All-Academic Team, a squad must accumulate a team GPA of at least 3.10. 

Emily Richards of Ohio Northern was named the Indoor and Outdoor Track Scholar Athlete of the Year, Katherine Pitman of Ithaca was the Indoor Field Scholar Athlete of the Year and Amelia Glueck of Illinois Wesleyan Outdoor Field Athlete of the Year.
