LYNCHBURG, Va. — First-year Emma Coleman (Parkton, Md./Hereford) registered the fourth-best mark in program history in the hammer throw to lead the Washington and Lee women's track and field team on day two of the Lynchburg Jack Toms Invitational on Saturday.

- Coleman finished third in the open hammer throw with a toss of 31.37m (102'11.25"). She also finished sixth in the discus at 25.46m (83'6.75").
- First-year Leah Green (Longwood, Fla./Lake Highland Preparatory School) placed second in the open triple jump at 9.77m (32'0.75"), and first-year Julie Lowe (Mountain Brook, Ala./Mountain Brook) claimed third in the open long jump at 4.38m (14'4.50").
