W&L's Donnelly Falls in Quarterfinals of NCAA Singles Championship

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. – Washington and Lee senior Brooke Donnelly (Kennesaw, Ga. / Marietta) continued play on Friday in the NCAA Division III Singles Championship hosted by Sewanee at The Champions Club in Chattanooga, Tenn.

Donnelly dropped her quarterfinal match to Bridget Harding of Emory by a score of 6-4, 6-1. Harding advances to the semifinals where she will face Eudice Chong of Wesleyan (Conn.).

With the loss, Donnelly finishes her senior campaign with a 24-6 singles record and a 22-5 doubles mark. The three-time All-American and ODAC Player of the Year completes her career ranked seventh all-time at W&L for career singles wins (86-18), and tied for eighth in career doubles victories (87-20).

W&L has now completed its 2016-17 women's tennis season.
