W&L Women's Tennis Defeats Lynchburg, 5-0

LEXINGTON, Va. -- The 22nd-ranked Washington and Lee women's tennis team continued its winning ways with a 5-0 win over Lynchburg on Tuesday afternoon at the Duchossois Tennis Center.

With the win, the Generals are now 3-1 overall and hold a perfect 3-0 mark in ODAC action, while the Hornets fell to 0-2 on the year.

W&L swept the three doubles matches and then posted wins at No. 1 and No. 3 singles to close out the match that was played to decision.

The Blue and White returns to the court tomorrow afternoon, when it hosts the Vixens of Sweet Briar. Action is set to start at 4:00 pm.
