W&L Women's Tennis Falls to No. 4 Emory, 9-0

ATLANTA, Ga. – The 16th-ranked Washington and Lee women's tennis team dropped a 9-0 decision to fourth-ranked Emory on Saturday at the Woodruff P.E. Center.

W&L falls to 18-6 on the year with the loss, while EU improves to 14-4 overall. 

The Eagles swept the doubles round, winning all but four points in the three matches. They then went on to take claim each of the six singles matches.

The Generals return to the court on Sunday, when they face 27th-ranked Mary Washington at home at 12:00 pm.
