W&L Women's Tennis Defeats Roanoke, 5-0
LEXINGTON, Va. – The 15th-ranked Washington and Lee women's tennis team continued its winning ways with a 5-0 win over Roanoke on Wednesday evening at the Duchossois Tennis Center.
With the win, the Generals are now 10-2 overall and hold a perfect 8-0 mark in ODAC action, while the Maroons fall to 5-3 on the year.
W&L swept the three doubles matches and then posted wins at No. 2 and No. 5 singles to close out the match that was played to decision.
The Blue and White returns to the court on Friday, when it kicks off competition at the Fab 5 Invitational, hosted by Emory University, with a match against Tufts at 10:00 am.
