W&L's Buell Places Fourth at ITA Small College Championships

MOBILE, Ala. – Washington and Lee sophomore Meghan Buell (New Albany, Ohio/New Albany) finished fourth in singles play at the ITA National Small College Championships on Saturday morning at the Copeland-Cox Tennis Center.

After losing in the semifinal round on Friday, Buell played in the third-place match, where she was taken down by Brittni Fausett of Mary-Hardin Baylor, 1-6, 6-7 (12-14).

With the completion of Buell's match, the W&L women's tennis team has finished its fall season and is set to begin competition again on March 9.
