W&L Women's Tennis Shuts Down Guilford

LEXINGTON, Va. – The eighth-ranked Washington and Lee women's tennis team completed its ODAC weekend with a 9-0 win over Guilford on Sunday afternoon at the Duchossois Outdoor Tennis Courts.

With the victory, W&L is now 8-2 overall and 5-0 in conference action. It has not dropped a match since losing to Division I James Madison, 7-2, on February 18.

Seniors Ann Morris (Lexington, Ky./Lexington Catholic) and Ashley Leinweber (Bloomfield Hills, Mich./Cranbrook Kingswood), sophomores Cameron Dorsey (Pepper Pike, Ohio/Hathaway Brown) and Chelsea Mixson (Beaufort, S.C./Hilton Head Prep) and first-year Kelsey Vella (Sussex, N.J./Blair Academy) all posted 2-0 records on the court.

W&L returns to action March 10 when it travels to Hollins for a 1:00 pm contest.
