W&L Women's Tennis Falls to Chicago, 8-1

ATLANTA, Ga. -- The No. 9 Washington and Lee women's tennis team fell to fourth-ranked University of Chicago, 8-1, on Sunday afternoon at the Fab 10 Tournament, hosted by Emory University, in Atlanta, Ga.

With the loss, the Generals dropped to 12-6 overall on the season, while UIC improved to 11-2 overall.

W&L returns to action on Saturday as it hosts No. 7 Carnegie Mellon at 1:00 pm.
