W&L Women's Tennis Cruises Past Roanoke, 9-0

LEXINGTON, Va. -- The No. 9 Washington and Lee women's tennis team cruised past Roanoke College, 9-0, in ODAC action on Tuesday afternoon at the W&L Upper Courts.

With the win, the Generals improved to 11-3 overall and a perfect 7-0 in conference play. Roanoke fell to 4-2 overall and 2-1 in ODAC action.

The Generals return to action on Friday as they travel to Atlanta, Ga. to take part in the Fab 10 Tournament, hosted by Emory University. W&L's first match will be against No. 8 Tufts University at 2:00 pm.
