W&L Women's Tennis Tops Mary Washington, 5-4
FREDERICKSBURG, Va. -- The No. 10 Washington and Lee women's tennis team defeated No. 18 Mary Washington, 5-4, on Saturday afternoon in Fredericksburg.
The Generals earned victories at the No. 1 and No. 2 doubles postions and went on to win at No. 1, No. 4 and No. 6 singes to claim the 5-4 victory.
With the win, the Generals improved to 9-1, while Mary Washington fell to 4-4.
The Generals return to action on Sunday, traveling to Guilford College for an ODAC match starting at 1:00 pm.
