W&L Women's Tennis Tops Randolph In ODAC Quarterfinals

LEXINGTON, Va. -- The sixth-ranked and number one seed Washington and Lee women's tennis team recorded a 9-0 victory over eighth-seeded Randolph College in the quarterfinals of the ODAC Tournament on Saturday afternoon at the Washburn Courts.

W&L posted perfect 8-0 scores in all three doubles matches, and only dropped one game in the six singles positions.

With the win, the Generals improved to 16-5 overall, while the WildCats fell to 6-9.

The Generals will return to action on Sunday in semifinal play as they face fifth-seeded Virginia Wesleyan at 1:00 pm.
