Suzanne Medwid is in her third season as an assistant soccer coach for the Generals. Her first two seasons have resulted in a 23-10-4 combined record and two trips to the semifinals on the ODAC Tournament. The 2011 team finished 13-4-2 overall, including a 7-2-2 league mark.
Prior to coming to W&L, Medwid served one season as an
assistant coach at her alma mater, Wittenberg University. While
there, Medwid helped lead the Tigers to a 12-5-5 overall record, a
North Coast Athletic Conference crown and an appearance in the NCAA
second round. Her coaching experience also includes numerous camps,
including the Wittenberg and Cape Cod Sea Camps.
As a player, Medwid was a two-time team captain and was twice named an All-American. She was the 2008 NCAC Player of the Year and she helped Tigers earn three NCAA Division III Tournament appearances, including a trip to the Sweet 16 during her junior season.
Medwid graduated from Wittenberg in 2009 with a bachelor of arts in early and special education.
