LEXINGTON, Va. – The Washington and Lee women’s
soccer team was a recipient of the National Soccer Coaches
Association of America (NSCAA) Team Academic Award, which was
announced on Wednesday.
This is the seventh year in a row the team received the recognition after posting a team grade point average of 3.39. Overall, 327 women’s teams nationwide posted a team grade point average of 3.0 or above to receive the honor.
The women’s soccer team finished the season with a 17-2-3 record, claiming the third ODAC conference championship in program history while advancing to the second round of the NCAA D-III women’s soccer tournament.
