2008-09: Finished among the team leaders in wins with a 17-10 overall record and a 4-3 mark in Centennial Conference matches as a 133-pounder … had two wins by pin … notched a team-best 52 takedowns, 22 escapes and three reversals … placed fourth in the 133-pound weight class at the W&L Invitational … completed his rookie campaign by winning six of his final eight matches, including a fourth-place finish in the 133-pound weight class at the Centennial Conference Championships … received the D.C. Montgomery Memorial Award as the team’s top first-year wrestler.

High School: Lettered in wrestling and lacrosse at New Trier Township High School ... two-time wrestling team captain and two-time Team MVP ... three-time first team all-conference selection and a three-time state qualifier ... helped lead the team to a pair of conference and regional championships ... holds the school records for wins and takedowns ... named an Illinois State Scholar.
