2008-09: Led the team in wins, going 18-9 overall and 5-2 in Centennial Conference matches … notched six wins by pins … posted 24 takedowns, 21 escapes, a team-best 16 total near falls and he tied for the team-lead with nine reversals … after dropping his first three matches of the season, finished the year winning 18 of his final 24 matches … placed third at 125 pounds in the W&L Invitational … finished third in the 125-pound weight class at the Centennial Conference Championships … won both of his contested matches in the conference championships by pin … knocked off Sean Ensign of McDaniel (1:54 – 2/21) and Abe Evans of Gettysburg (1:22) … received the team’s J.C. Peebles Memorial Award for the spirit and thrill of competition.
