Washington and Lee University held its annual Athletic Awards Ceremony on Tuesday, May 18 at Lee Chapel. Headlining the award winners were senior soccer/track & field athlete Maggie Sutherland (Pittsburgh, Pa./Sewickley Academy) and senior basketball/track & field athlete Ben Goetsch (Timonium, Md./Gilman), who were selected as the “Pres” Brown Outstanding Senior Female and Male Athletes of the Year as voted on by members of the department.

The class includes former basketball coach Verne Canfield, former lacrosse player Don Carroll ’76, former football, lacrosse and wrestling athlete Robert Hull ’96, and former soccer, lacrosse and basketball player Karin Treese Bauer ’99.
