The Old Dominion Athletic Conference released its 2013-14 All-Academic Team on Monday and Washington and Lee once again led the league in number of athletes honored.

The Old Dominion Athletic Conference announced its 2014 ODAC Spring Sportsmanship teams on Thursday, and Washington and Lee had several athletes honored in each of the spring sports sponsored by the conference.

Six Generals Named to VaSID All-State Squad
The Virginia Sports Information Directors (VaSID) announced the All-State College Division Women’s Lacrosse team on Wednesday and Washington and Lee had six athletes honored, as well Head Coach Brooke O’Brien earning Coach of the Year accolades.

Washington and Lee senior women's lacrosse players Margaret Klein (North Andover, Mass. / Brooks) and Leanne Stone (Darien, Conn. / Darien) have been selected to the 2014 Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) Division III All-America team.

W&L Women's Lacrosse Falls to No. 4 TCNJ, 13-7, in NCAA Tournament
Fourth-ranked TCNJ used a 9-5 lead in the first half to pull ahead of the 12th-ranked Washington and Lee women’s lacrosse team and claim a 13-7 win over the Generals on Saturday afternoon in the NCAA Division III Tournament regional round at Pratt Field.

W&L Claims the 2014 ODAC Overall Sports Champion Cup
For the 12th-consecutive year, Washington and Lee University has claimed the Dan Wooldridge Overall Sports Champion Cup, as announced by the Old Dominion Athletic Conference on Tuesday. The Generals claimed both the Women’s Commissioner’s Cup and the Men’s Commissioner’s Cup on their way to the overall title.

Washington and Lee Director of Athletics Jan Hathorn has announced that a record 210 students earned Scholar-Athlete awards during the recently completed winter term. The students are all members of W&L athletic teams and achieved a grade-point average (GPA) of at least 3.500.
