W&L Women's Lax to Host First Round NCAA Tournament Game

LEXINGTON, Va. – The National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) announced its 2011 Division III Women's Lacrosse Tournament field on Sunday evening and Washington and Lee has been selected to host a first round contest on Wednesday, May 11 at Watt Field.

Winners of the Old Dominion Athletic Conference Tournament, the Generals (14-4) will face USA South Conference champions Christopher Newport University (13-5) at 4:00 pm.

The winner of Wednesday's game will advance to regional play on Saturday and Sunday, May 14-15 at Salisbury University. They will face the winner of the Salisbury University-Rowan University first round game.

Ticket prices for Wednesday's first round game will be $3 for adults, $2 for students, senior citizens and kids 12 and under and $1 for kids age three and younger. Fans are asked to please use cash or check when purchasing tickets.
