W&L Women's Lacrosse to Host NCAA First Round Contest
LEXINGTON, Va. – The National Collegiate Athletic
Association (NCAA) announced its 2010 Division III Women’s
Lacrosse Tournament field on Sunday evening and Washington and Lee
has been selected to host a first round contest on Wednesday, May
12 at Watt Field.
Winners of the Old Dominion Athletic Conference Tournament, the
Generals (14-4) will face Middle Atlantic Conference champions
Elizabethtown College (15-4) at 4:30 pm.
The winner of Wednesday’s game will advance to regional play
on Saturday, May 15 at Franklin & Marshall College. They will
face the winner of the University of Mary Washington-Drew
University first round game.
Ticket prices for Wednesday’s first round game will be $3
for adults and $2 for students, senior citizens and kids 12 and
under. Fans are asked to please use cash or check when purchasing
tickets. Those fans that can not attend in person will have the
opportunity to follow the game via live stats, WLUR
Radio or watch the free video online through B2 Networks.
