Pam Findlay is in her third year as an assistant women's basketball coach at Washington and Lee University. Her first season resulted in the Generals finished 9-16 overall and advancing to the quarterfinals of the ODAC Tournament. The team was picked to finished last (12th) in the ODAC Preseason Poll before claiming the No. 8 seed in the tournament.
Last season, the Generals finished the year with a 9-16 overall record and a 4-12 mark in ODAC play. W&L traveled to Roanoke for the ODAC Tournament First Round, but fell to the Maroons, 61-44.
Findlay joined the W&L staff after holding a variety of positions at the George Washington Masonic National Memorial in Alexandria, Va., over the past year. Prior to that experience, she was a graduate assistant women’s basketball coach at Bemidji State in Minnesota for two years, earning a master of science in sports studies in 2011.
Findlay is a 2008 graduate of the United States Air Force Academy, where she was a four-year letterwinner and a team captain for the basketball team as a senior. A four-time Mountain West Conference Scholar-Athlete and two-time CoSIDA Academic All-District honoree, she ranks 16th on the school’s all-time scoring list with 955 points. Findlay earned Honorable Mention All-Mountain West Conference honors as a senior when she averaged 10.7 points per game.
