W&L Riding Places Ninth at the Hollins IHSA Invitational

HOLLINS, Va. – The Washington and Lee riding team was in action on Saturday at the Hollins IHSA Invitational held at the Kirby Riding Arena. 

The Generals finished ninth out of the 11 teams, with Randolph taking home top honors with 43 team points.

Individually, W&L was led by junior Tamara Morse (Bristow, Va./Brentsville), who placed third in the open flat and fifth in the open fences. 

Sophomore Molly Rountree (Andover, Mass./Phillips Academy) and first-year Maia Robbins (Seattle, Wash./Lakeside School) both tied for fourth in the intermediate fences, while junior Camille Cobb (Huntersville, N.C./Harding University) took home a fourth-place showing in the walk-trot event.
