    Mathews and Kurkis Highlight Major Award Winners at W&L Washington and Lee University held its annual Athletic Awards Ceremony on Tuesday, May 17 at Lee Chapel. Headlining the award winners were senior field hockey/lacrosse player Emmy Mathews (Baltimore, Md./Bryn Mawr) and senior football player Greg Kurkis (Roswell, Ga./Westminster), who were selected as the “Pres” Brown Outstanding Senior Female and Male Athletes of the Year as voted on by members of the department.
