4x100m Relay Ties School Record in Final Day of Carnival

LEXINGTON, Va. — The Washington and Lee men's track and field team wrapped up the final day of the W&L Carnival highlighted by the 4x100m relay tying the program record.

The quartet of junior Agustin Kim (La Habra, Calif./Troy), junior Cole Glasgow (Dallas, Texas/Jesuit College Prep), sophomore Aaron Jeong (Federal Way, Wash./Thomas Jefferson) and junior Zander Tallman (Grand Blanc, Mich./Cranbrook-Kingswood) finished in 42.10 to take second. The group tied the team of Covey, Mahoney, Robinson and Hodges from 1993 and Williams, Boyd, Gilbert and Sosnowski from 1990.

Tallman also finished second in the 400m with a time of 48.95. Jeong claimed sixth in the 100m in 11.28. Junior Dillon Myers (Foxborough, Mass./Foxborough) placed third in the 400H in 55.00.

The Generals return to competition at the Commonwealth Duals on next Saturday.
