BETHELEM, Pa. – The Washington and Lee men's track & field team took part in the Moravian Greyhound Invitational on Sunday afternoon and came away with seven Top 10 finishes among NCAA Division III athletes.
Highlighting the finishers for the Generals was the 4x100m relay team of first-years Cole Glasgow (Dallas, Texas/Jesuit College Prep), Dylan Myers (Foxborough, Mass./Foxborough), Jonathan Sells (Brandon, Fla./C. Leon King) and Mac Keers (Wilton, Conn./Wilton), which finished second with a time of 43.82.
Also recording second-place finishes were Glasgow in the 100m with a time of 11.06 and Myers in the 400m hurdles in 55.54.
Junior Tyler Grant (Suwanee, Ga./South Forsyth) recorded a third-place finish in the 110m hurdles with a mark of 16.19 and sophomore Dillon Mills (Mobile, Ala./St. Paul's) came in fourth in the javelin with a heave of 56.97m.
Rounding out the Generals' top finishers were sophomore A.J. Dowers (Cranbury, N.J./Princeton) with a fifth-place finish in the discus with a toss of 37.49m and sophomore Wayde Marsh (Milford, Del./Selasianum) in the 800m with a time of 1:58.52.
Washington and Lee will return to action on Friday when it takes part in day one of the ODAC Championships beginning at 3:00 pm.
