LEXINGTON, Va. -- The top-seeded and 24th-ranked Washington and Lee men's tennis team notched a 5-0 victory over fourth-seeded Bridgewater in the semifinals of the ODAC Tournament on Saturday afternoon at Sweet Briar College.
The Generals swept the doubles competition, winning 8-6 at Nos. 1-2 and 8-1 at No. 3. W&L then posted straight-set wins at No. 3 and No. 4 singles to walk away with the win.
The Blue & White improved to 16-4 overall, while the Eagles fell to 12-10.
Washington and Lee advances to Sunday's ODAC Championship game when it will take on either second-seeded Virginia Wesleyan or sixth-seeded Guilford. Action is set to begin at 1:00 pm.
