ATLANTA, Ga. -- The 24th-ranked Washington and Lee men's tennis team notched an 8-1 win over Oglethorpe on Tuesday afternoon in Atlanta.
The Generals swept the doubles points and claimed victories at each of the top five singles positions to run away with the win.
Washington and Lee improved to 13-3 overall with the win, while the Stormy Petrels slipped to 12-9 with the loss.
Washington and Lee returns to action on Wednesday when it takes on fourth-ranked Emory in Atlanta.
