W&L Men's Tennis Defeats Emory & Henry, 5-0
LEXINGTON, Va. -- The 23rd-ranked Washington and Lee men's tennis team completed its fourth match of the weekend, defeating Emory & Henry by a score of 5-0 on Sunday at the Duchossois Tennis Center.
The Generals took all three doubles matches and posted wins at No. 1 singles and No. 4 singles to close out the match that was played to decision.
With the win, W&L improved to 8-3 overall and 6-0 in the ODAC, while the Wasps fell to 8-2 and 3-1 in conference play.
Washington and Lee returns to action on Thursday when it hosts Bridgewater for a 4:00 pm match.
