LEXINGTON, Va. -- The Washington and Lee men's tennis team notched an 8-1 win over Emory & Henry on Sunday morning at the W&L Courts.
The Generals dropped No. 1 doubles, but had little trouble at second and third doubles and easily dispatched the Wasps at all six singles positions to post the win.
With the victory, W&L improved to 6-3 overall and 5-0 in the ODAC. Emory & Henry fell to 5-3 overall and 3-1 in the conference with the loss.
Washington and Lee returns to action on March 14 when it travels to Randolph for a 4:00 pm match.
