LEXINGTON, Va. -- The top-seeded Washington and Lee men's tennis team advanced to the championship match of the Old Dominion Athletic Conference Tournament with a 5-0 victory over fifth-seeded Emory & Henry in a semifinal match on Friday afternoon.
The Generals claimed all three doubles matches and won at No. 1 and No. 4 singles to advance to the championship match for the fifth-straight year since the conference went to a team championship format in 2007.
With the win, W&L improved to 14-3, while the Wasps fell to 12-9.
W&L will take on second-seeded Hampden-Sydney in the title match on Saturday at 2:00 pm.
